I edited a video in Premiere with jump cuts applied to a single video file. When i go to export it, the same 15-20 seconds just keeps on looping. When i preview it in my work space everything is correct, but it is completely different when i export it. I know i am exporting the sequence because all of my image overlays are still appearing. It is just the camera footage that is looping and not exporting correctly.
Update:
I found a solution,
I went into Settings > Camera > Formats and switched it from "High Efficiency" to "Most Compatible",
This completely fixed the problem, i'm not sure why but ill take it. Thanks for all of the replies.

hmmmm. the plot thickens.
I wonder, what are the specs of your source footage. In other post you said you normally use 4k but this is a new camera with full HD ? Any idea what camera and wrapper and codec ? What is it you are working on, a PC, Mac, desktop, laptop, operating system ???
This is like an Agatha Christie novel... we have a problem, and at some point some 'facts' ( clues ) will be revealed....
Yippeee ! I can't wait to find out the first clue !

I film on an iPhone XS, i usually use the back camera which films 4k, but this time i tried the front facing..
The video specs are:
1920x1088
Data Rate: 15598 kbps
Total Bitrate: 15710 kbps
Frame Rate: 59.96 Frame/second
I am using a windows 10 laptop, and i have never had an issue editing the 4k footage

It is looping the entire length of the sequence? How are you playing it back?
I'm wondering if the playback app is set to loop.
What do you see if you reimport it to PR?

Hi,
I encountered this exact problem. I created a flv with OBS recording my desktop, and converted it to MP4 and imported it into Premiere Pro. I have made many cuts and edited it down, and all looks good in the playback and preview. when I export it though, its just the 10-15 seconds of the start of original source material which is looped, even though the audio is correct according to my new edits.
is it in premiere you choose Settings > Camera > Formats? I cant seem to find that option in Premiere. thanks!
