Hi. This is Evan.

I got the trial version of Premiere pro just 1 hour ago, but can't use it because of the state of my computer.

I'd like to try to use that before I buy premiere pro monthly later.

So, could I pause the test period for days?

Hi Evan,  most of the people here are users like yourself, so unfortunately we (as users) can't help with this request. That said I think it unlikely Adobe have any mechanism to 'pause' a trial period anyway.  Good luck with getting your machine up and running.

Steve is right.  A trial can't be paused.

You will be able to download a new trial when a new version comes out, so maybe that will happen when you are ready to try it again.
