Getting audio to playback!

Suddenly I am not getting any audio to play back at all in Premeire.

I have tried everything including changing audio hardware in Preferences.

The meters show audio is there but I can not get the playback at all.

I even uninstalled Premeire and reinstalled it. Problem still exists.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Working on a MAC btw and this laptop has never had this issue.

did you try to set input to none in audio preferences?

If the suggestion by joellebh doesn't work, delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work,try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
