Getting in touch with the basics?

Hi there!

What book (yaah, old school) would you actually recommend to get into the basics of Premiere Pro? Newest version is at hand.

English would be fine, German would do no harm.

honestly, I think video tutorials are the way to go.  Linkedin has a bunch of fairly comprehensive ones.  They're not perfect (was showing a friend with some cognitive issues - sigh - yesterday and saw a few mistakes or omissions) but they will give you a good grounding.  You'll need to get a premium account but I think there's a free trial to see if it's worthwhile.   There are also plenty on both the adobe site and on youtube, but the linkedin ones seem to take a broad comprehensive approach rather than addressing single issues...
