I am putting this video shot vertically on a phone to a compilation video and when i scroll through it with my mouse it shows these weird lines on the side. Then when I let go of the mouse, the movie the clip is distorted and pulled so that it is longer and less wide, making the image seem pulled lengthwise. It exports distorted like that.
Everything is up to date and I've tried reuploading the video twice, this or some variation of it keeps happening.

I see from your photo that your machine is made by Fujitsu. Not super familiar with their lineup, but are you certain that your specs meet or exceed the requirements? Forgive me for asking, just something that must be ruled out. Just curious, when you open Premiere Pro, do you get a system compatibility report?
Specifically, it looks like something that may be caused by graphics drivers. Maybe they just need to be updated, or maybe the driver you need isn't available for that machine (I had that experience once). Learned my lesson... sent a brand new laptop back, got a refund, and had Puget Systems build me a computer. They know what they're doing. I don't work for them. I just love that they do all the thinking about specs and make sure all those bases are covered.
