i have a flat color, semi-opaque still image that i want to "highlight" over another asset.

the default starts at the top left corner and runs down to the bottom right. i want to adjust it to start at an edge and have it transition to the other edge.

q1: is it possible to do this with gradient wipe? if so, how?
q2: if not, what would be the alternative?

thank you.

You cannot adjust the default image.

You need to make your own gradient map.

Open transition in Effect Controls > go to custom and add your image. Make sure its 16:9.
