Hi all

Is there a reason why Adobe discontinued the h264.mov way of sending stuff? Don't matter to me just wanted to know for interest's sake.

Adobe stopped supporting legacy QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs with the April 2018 releases of Premiere Pro CC (version 12.1), After Effects CC (version 15.1), Adobe Media Encoder (version 12.1) and Adobe Audition (version 11.1.0).

This has been done mainly because "Adobe continuously aims to keep up with the most modern workflows, support formats, and codecs broadly used across the professional film and video industry":
