Is there a document I can view that explains when hardware encoding can and cannot be used?
I am using Premiere Pro v 14.9.0 (Build 52) on a Windows 10 computer with an Intel Core i7-3770K processor with 32 GB memory and HP NVIDIA Quadro P2000 GPU with 5 GB memory.
I have some video sequences where H.264 can use Hardware Encoding.
I have other video sequences where H.264 cannot use Hardware Encoding, but can use it if I switch to HEVC (H.265).
It's very confusing. I'd like to have a document that explains the limitations of using hardware encoding so I can make sure I'm meeting the proper criteria.
