Hey,

 

I'm using CEP to create an extension for PPro. 

My question is how can I hide a project item? it is possible through the Premiere Pro GUI, and I need to do it programically.

You can't; only PPro can decide which items are hidden. 

Potential work-around: you can move items to a bin of your choosing.
