Hi

We are grading our final films on Davinci Resolve and generating a  Rec2020 HLG 10bit Uncompressed .mov output. Using this .mov file when we create our promo versions on APP v15.0.  Promo version format is .mxf UHD Rec2020 HLG

On comparing between the source and output file, we notice a drop in saturation and colour information in the mxf output. This is a major problem for us.

However, if we export .mxf UHD Rev2020 HLG file from Resolve and use it in the process to create our versions, there is NO drop in colour informations.

What is the issue here ?

Source file format  - .UHD 10Bit Uncompressed .mov

Output File Format - XAVC QFHD Intra Class300, UHD BT2020 HLG .mxf

Systems - SuperMicro \ 48Gb RAM \ Dual Intel Xeon Processor\Windows10Pro

There are other videos about Resolve that might be helpful. That being said you have to know how to export with Premier Pro and Resolve and setup the GUI 100% correct.
