How do I confirm if my render times are reasonable?

I've got a Razer Blade 2019 (RTX 2070 with Max-Q and 6 Core 12 Thread i7-9750h 2.6Ghz) and I'm rendering 1 motion graphic that is taking about 5 minutes to render. Does that seem excessive to anyone else in light of my specs?

Generally render times for others in this .mogrt file and similar ones to be about 1-3 minutes. Which is still longer than I expect for my GPU specs but I wasn't sure what is realistic.

I'm considering getting an eGPU and I'm wondering what it would take to get those render times to near-instant for that type of animation.
