How do I freeze my video, and not fade to black?

Hi,

I am very new to PP but have managed to put together a very short video to try to get a cat adopted who has had a miserable life.  I think I've got what I want, but I would like it just to freeze at the end so the text on a still photo can still be read.  I'm sure it's VERY simple, but it just escapes me.

Thanks,

Bonnie

One way:

-Make a cut at the frame you want to "freeze."

-Copy and paste that frame on the timeline a many times as needed to create the "freeze."

Another way:

Right click on the clip in the timeline and choose the option "Insert Frame Hold Segment", see the screenshot that I leave you.

Me again.  I tried it but once the video ends, it turns to black.  I want to put this up on FB and once the video is over, I'd like it just to stay with the image.  I have a photo collage of the cat I'm trying to find a home for, and in the middle is a short video and in the collage is the information about her.  Once the video ends I want to be sure that people have time to read it and so, don't want it to go to a black screen.

That is a function of the player.  Premiere Pro can only create a video.  It can't tell the player to stop on the last frame.

So, if I post this on FB, instead of just freezing on the last frame of photos, it will fade to black?  There is a photo collage, static, and an overlay of the video in the middle.  I was hoping once the video finished playing, the static collage would remain.  That seems not to be possible???
