how to increase the duration of a subclip ?

I have created a subclip from my main video. It lasts 3,50 minutes.

I would like to change the duration of this subclip. How to do this in Premiere Pro ?

I might not be much help as I have never before used subclips but there is an option when making the subclip to allow you to extend the clip beyond the original boundaries. Uncheck the box.
