How to Mute Audio Tracks temporally?

Hi!

I got a Video with 4 seperated Audio Tracks.

So i want to mute for example Channel 1 From 0.01 - 0:58, Channel 2 from 0:10 - 0:20 and so on...

Is there any way?

There's several different ways to do this. The most obvious is the "M" in the Timeline Panel or Audio Mixer Panel.MuteTracks.jpg

However, you might be wanting to mute just a clip. There's a bunch of ways to do that, too. I like to use the Mute effects from the Effects Panel. It's under Audio Effects. Then when you drop it onto you audio clip, you have to switch the "0" to "1." The "0" and "1" toggle the mute on and off.

 

Again, there are a ton of way to accomplish this, I just listed two.

If your four channels are on one track you might want to set the audio channels up so that they come into the timeline as four separate mono tracks to give you more flexibility in mixing them.
