Hi Adobe,

Your closed captioning feature is completely messed up and made me lose so many hours!!!!!!!!!!!

Fix the damn problem!!

The caption features is not working as it should, when I drag the caption bar to the timeline and start writing my captions, they don't update directly. I literally have to write the timestamps manually and input them in the browser first for them to update on the timeline and display correctly. This is making me want to rip my hair off my head!!! I need to work with captions alot and this is making my life a complete hell.

lol, both. Anyways, it's just a bug. It worked on one project and didn't work on the other. There's no fix. It's hit or miss so yeah. Thanks anyways. I'm trying to delete this post, but it's not giving me the option.

This problem is most likely to occur when you have duplicated the caption stream.

If you have not duplicated the stream, then these sound like unusually poor results. Try entering the captions and times in the Caption Panel.

Adobe is currently doing a complete overhaul of the caption tool, and changing it to use the graphics text. The public beta includes access to this, but it is not yet ready for work on active projects.
