I can only upload two clips or more video clips into a timeline

If I upload just the one video clip it only drags along the audio. If anyone has any advice please reach out. Thanks.

Most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor, set in and out point. Then drag/insert into timeline.

Just for the record: Uploading refers to transmitting data  from one computer system  to another through means of a network .

Thanks for getting back to me. 

I have tried this and it also doesn't work. If I make a new timeline and insert the in and out points it's okay, but If I do so on an existing timeline it only brings over the audio.
