brand new machine and fresh installation. Weird because it let me export a couple of times fine in the beta version but now it won't. I get the same error whether I am using premiere, media endoder standard or beta.

After updating, you should always delete the media cache in its entirety. If you haven't already done that, you should try it to see if it helps.

You could also try resetting your preferences.

Thanks Jeff - I tried both of these options and I still get the same problem.

What's strange to me is that it was working fine for the first couple of hours.

I've found a workaround by selecting 'use software encoding' but it's much slower!

You need to fix whatever is on the timeline at the given time in the error message.

Delete clip/image/audio.... from project, rename, import and edit again.

See how that goes.

people keep saying this in other threads but it does it in every sequence I have in this project. It's also not anything complicated or weird - no effects or anything.

Try de-selecting this in prefs:

EnableHardwareDecoding.jpg

and then re-enabling Metal GPU Acceleration in your Project settings. Sometimes Pr gets fussy when you dump everything into being handled by the hardware.
