I have Premiere Pro CC Version 12.1.2 and want to use the option to use hardware encoding while exporting. My CPU is the Intel core i5-8400 which does support quick-sync (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/126687/intel-core-i5-8400-processor-9m-cache-up...).
But when trying to select hardware encoding in the export options it says that my system does not meet the requirements (see attached picture).
I know for a fact that quick-sync is working because my webcam software uses that to encode and it works completely normal.
Thanks for your help in advance
Leon

Hardware acceleration is based on your GPU, not your CPU.

According to this Article (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/gpu-acceleration-and-hardware-encoding.html) the encoding takes place on the CPU with quick-sync technology.

Kummelklaus.
You are correct. Premiere Pero can make use of Intel's Quick Sync as seen in the video below. You must enable the IGPU in the BIOS and install the driver.

I have the integrated GPU enabled and its drivers installed, but I see the options to enable encoding like in the video:

Jeff,
You are incorrect. Some Intel CPUs with dedicated IGPUs have Quick Sync for encoding and decoding H.264.
