Do you mean the text overlay?

 

In your Program monitor, turn off overlays. You can do this either by right-clicking in the Program monitor or by clicking the wrench icon in the Program monitor panel. Un-check Overalays.

Those are so-called Dog Ears, not suppose to use these.

Ctrl+Shift+F11 will turn them off.
