Importing QuickTime clips

I am trying to import a large QuickTime (.mov) video file with multiple clips into Adobe Premiere, tota file size approx 22Gb, approx total duration 1hr 15 mins.

After clicking "import", Premiere only imports the first 9 seconds, i.e. the first clip. It also opens Media Encoder automatically but nothing else happens.

Trying to convert the clip in Media Encoder to mp4 format results in the same issue, only the initial 9+ seconds are converted.

Does anyone has experienced a similar issue?, any recommendations on how to fix it?
