In an out points for sequences don't stick for nested sequences?

Just started using PP CC after over a decade with FCP7.

In my workflow, I use nested sequences, and I'm doing the same with PP CC. However, if I am in a sequence and hit in/out points after one is already established, when I drag the sequence to where I need it, it doesn't show the new in/out points, instead it retains the previous ones.

I'm now instead having to open the sequence in the Source Monitor, hiy a mark in the sequence in the timeline, put focus on the Source Monitor, and then establish the in/out points there. This is really clunky, and can lead to errors.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to ensure that in/out points in the timeline always work in nested sequences? I'm also not positive that this problem doesn't also occur on export after the first in/out points are established, I think it might happen there, too. And if it does, that's really terrible.

Anyone have any insights? This was super easy in FCP 7.
