Hello,

I downloaded the latest version but I have a problem. When I pause my screen goes black. When I change in setting to software only - it stops but the editing process is slow. How can I fix the black screen?

The other problem is that when I added captions from Rev the video exports only in audio and not video.
Can you please guide me to fix this?

Need more info, Alexander. Sorry for the hassle. First thing is we need you to check system requirements and list all of the gear you are using, computer wise. Knowing more about your video format and the cameras you are using would also be nice to know.

Regarding captions, we have a new version of that feature shipping now, so you may want to complete your work in version 14 if your workflow is not working with version 15.

Thank You,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

It's okay.

I'm using Premier Pro v15.2 I'm using a MacBook Pro - Big Sur.

2.4 Ghz -- 8 GB.

70.08 GB available of 250 GB.

My video is from iPhone camera using DJI Mimo.

Video: DJI_20210429_161443_957_video.MP4

I attached two screen shots (one when is paused and one when it's playing).
I realized that with new update it makes the video wider for some reason as well.

Thank you

Hi Alexander,

Try transcoding or creating proxies for that media. That should help a lot.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thank you Kevin.

I transcoded it and it worked. There is no more black screen 🙂 Will work with the subtitles now.

Hello Kevin,

It seems that I have a problem with videos when I add subtitles.

The video works fine on the desktop but I can't seem to download it on my iPhone.

I tried different ways (airdrop & dropbox) it doesn't work.

I transcoded it and managed to send it to my phone and it works.

So my question is do I always have to use the software to transcode the video to work?
