inquiry about Selection follows playhead option

How can I use (( Selection follows playhead option ))  to select all clips under playhead  in the timeline automatically when I move my playhead ??

I'm looking to do the same thing, how can I have all tracks get selected instead of just the top one???

Sorry to say it can't be done, the "Selection follows playhead" option will always select just from the top active track.
