Is there a way of aligning 2 different frames automatically?

Hi is there a way of aligning 2 different frames from 2 different clips automatically?

Or if not is there a way of doing it easier than using the effects panel and adjusting all the position points?

Is it also possible to lay the clips on top of each other and reduce opacity on one to align, like I would do in Photoshop?

You can't do it automatically but what you can do is to put the first video on another video track (above the second video for example on V2 or V3) then go to the effects control and put the opacity 50 or 40% so by minimizing the opacity you can see the 2 videos and the differences and align it the way you want with the position and scaling changes then put back the opacity 100%

 this is the most close procedure to the one that you want

I do this often with horizons: I use the guides and double click on the clip in the program window for easy positioning.
