Is there any way to apply Arabic text to *existing* text layers?

So right now, in graphics you can change the paragraph direction, etc. for Arabic text. But the changes only take effect for text created AFTER you make those changes.

I'm wondering if there is any way I can apply those changes to already existing text layers (so that I can easily add Arabic text to them without having to completely recreate them).

Right now basically I have hundreds of text layers that need Arabic text that were originally in English, so if I want to add Arabic text I'll have to manually re-create each one... Thank you!

You should be able to highlight the existing text and paste the new text into place. As far as the direction difference I'm not sure how that would work. I hope this helps somewhat.
