Issue importing .mov files shot on iPhone

Today I shot my church service on my iPhone 11. When I went to import the .mov file, the video file imports in and looks like a mosaic. I just shot and edited video on Friday and did not have this issue. I went back and checked all of my old project files to see of it was something wrong with this video file and ALL of my project files are showing the .mov files the exact same way. I am now having to convert my .movie  file to a .mp4 (using HandBrake its a .m4v) file in order to use it. Is anyone else experiencing this? Was there a recent update that caused this?
