After I purchased a template from Adobe Stock then at Pr, I tried to drag it into the timeline. It would not allow to complete it and box told me to use after effect. I never used after effect app in the past but this one, what am I missing here?

If it is an After Effects template, you can't use it in Premiere Pro.
If it is a Mogert template,install it and then drag it to the timeline from the Essential Graphics Panel.
