Issues with Subtitles in version 15.2 (2021)

Good day,

I'm trying to add subtitles to a 52 minute video.

It seems that the .srt files can only have 71 text segments per file

It seems that you can only import text onto 3 subtitle tracks

ideas?  Suggestions?  Instructions?

Can you let us know the version of Premiere Pro your using? As per my knowledge .srt is not limited to 71 text segments in Premiere Pro.

Hi,

As noted above I'm using version 15.2 which is part of the 2021 version.

I've figured out my issue by taking my transcript and putting it through  'Subtitle Edit' and getting a valid .srt file with all the block (322 of them).

Ron, I assume from your response that you are good to go. The most frequent reason that only part of an srt imports is an error or some caption characteristic that PR rejects. PR then stops the import at that point. I like SubtitleEdit as a tool to help fix the srt file.

I think there is not a limit to 3 Caption Tracks in PR 2021. I have created at least 4.
