Joining MP4 Clips

I have two MP4 clips that I want to join together to make a new video.  Clip 1 is my own creation.  Clip 2 came from someone else.

When I put them on the timeline they play just fine together.  When I render the timeline the images in all the frames of Clip 2 become smaller and split the image with a large green bar filling the lower part of the screen.   I've attached an image showing the green bar.

I tried starting a new project with just Clip 2 and I get the same result when attempting to render.  I've done this many times with MP4 clips that I've created but I'm missing something with this particular clip and not recognizing the problem.

Any ideas??

MP4 is a wrapper, what is inside YOUR wrapper - Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the program below
Free program to get file information for PC/Mac http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download
- when you analyze your file in MediaInfo and post a screen shot in the forum, do so in TREE view
- post your information IN your message, not as an attachment that someone would have to download

You need to compare the two files to see what is different

Here are the two files evaluated with MediaInfo.  The first is the one that produces the green bar when rendered.

John,

Thank you for the MediaInfo link.  I've uploaded both files.  They are different.  I compiled one and received the other from a friend.  When I placed both files on the same timeline they played together with no problem.  Only when I rendered did the green bar problem appear.  I started over with just the problem clip in a new project to see if it would render by itself and that resulted in the green bars.  I understand there are differences between the two files, but I'm not concerned about that at this point.  I'm just trying to figure out if there is a way to successfully run that one file through Premiere Pro and export it without the green bars.

Thanks

Ann,

Yes, I tried as you suggested.  The video played correctly until I rendered it.  Same result as the MP4 extension.

Thanks,

get a small portion of clip 2 ( the problem) to save time. if possible.

try to strip out the bad data from the images ( your green bar ) using handbrake, etc.

Just export same exact specs as source and see it it doesn't strip out the bad data.

John,

Thank you.  Good to know.  Converting it to constant frame fixed the problem.  I appreciate your help.
