HI ,
We have two laptops standard with the following video cards:
Intel UHD Graphics 620
NVIDIA Quadro T1000 with 4GB GDDR5
Can they both do Adobe premiere and is one more recommended than the other?
The video below demonstrates how to use the 620 GPU/Quick Sync as well as an Nvida GPU.

The newer Intel drivers completely broke QuickSync when a discrete GPU is also used. That means that as of now, only one or the other may be used. Adobe Premiere Pro, in the latest version, will automatically pick the Nvidia GPU for hardware decoding and encoding, with absolutely no way at all whatsoever to switch to the Intel GPU for these functions.

I did not know that that option was added. It has been added to 14.5 to compensate for the automatic-enable feature of Intel QuickSync in newer Intel graphics drivers becoming broken.
