Lost my recent files in Premiere Pro

So I lost my recient project files in Premiere Pro when I updated to the latest OS (BigSur 11.4) on my 2017 MacBook Air.  I can't find them anywhere.  Is this common? And if so, is there a way to restore them?

You can restore files if you have a backup. In general though, this had nothing to do with Premiere, you may want to try an Apple forum, or take it in if you don't know if you have been doing backups.

Sorry about this. Check out your Creative Cloud folder. Anything in there under the Adobe > Premiere Pro folders?
