Hi

I have a problem after the update to Premiere Pro CC 2020.

when I choose a LUT from my packs in the creative menu in Lumetri, My playback is all Dropped Farme when starting the play button.

if I choose 'software Engine only', everything OK.

Windows 10 64Bit
Nvidia GTX 960

Driver Version: 456.71

Any suggestions on what could be the issue?

Best regards.

I am also experiencing this issue. It's present on two different workstations that I've tested and after searching this forum, seems to be a common issue on both MacOS and Windows systems (on Premiere versions after 14.3.1)

System Specs:

System 1

Windows 10 (May 2020 update)

i7-7820X

64GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM

GTX 1070 (have used multiple drivers to test but currently on latest studio driver)

All drives are either NVMe SSDs or SATA SSDs

System 2

Windows 10 (May 2020 update)

i9-9900K

64GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM

GTX 1070

1TB NVMe SSD

I agee. I have big problems with Lumetri LUTs in all Premiere 14 versions (and latest updates). My find where problem is in my case. If I use standart LUTs with grid size 32 then no problem, playback is smooth. But if I use LUT with 64 grid size then playback is very bad, like 12 fps. I tried other settings like 40 grid, 45, 55... playback starting to drop frames. More grid size = more dropped frames. I have strong PC configuration (RTX 2080Ti) and if I turn off GPU acceleration (software only) then my 64 size LUTs plays smooth. There is no such problem on previous versions of Premiere. I tried to do everything and nothing helping with this.

It's not an ideal solution by any means - but this issue does seem to be fixed in the 14.6 public beta. See my post about it here

This is very good news. I really hope that it will be fixed. Cause problem is at very specific point, that could be localized and found.
