Masks are not rendered in subsequences. Media encoder just leaves the video out!

in a subsequence i have a video on top of which lies another video with masking. this subsequence lies in a main sequence with further layers and setting layers.

When I render the main sequence, the part of the video with the masks on it is simply left out. why?

Try deleting video preview files, Michael. Choose Sequence > Delete Render Files. Is it working now?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hello Kevin, thank you for your answer. unfortunately, it doesn't work yet.
I have now found another solution. I have rendered the sequence separately and re-imported it into the main sequence.
rendering the subsequence alone took 20 minutes and rendering the main sequence takes just under 4 minutes.

The media encoder simply skips the hard part of the work xD
