Hi, I have a video I'm editing, and I have a few sections where I am recording a voice over to add in.

Normally my mic input volume is plenty loud - ie - I can hear things going on in the room around me through the mic picking them up. But when I go to record the voice over track, it is nearly silent and my voice is so low. I don't understand how this can be, seeing as it is very loud otherwise (through the mic).

the mic is coming through it's own interface that is just plugged into the mic-in spot in the back of my tower. I'm on windows 10.

I have to get this to work.
