MINI DV Import

Adobe Premier wont recognize the video played from my dv camera via FW800>adapterTB1>adapter usb c. 

I do have camera controls.. just no picture. Am I missing an import setting?

I'm having the same problem but I have a Sony DCR-HC30. It was working fine for 7 tapes captured then when I put in tape 8 I could hear the audio and control the camera but can't see the video in the capture window. I did verify my camera works with WinDV. It's just a problem with Premier Pro.
