I have a free text generator from Austin Newman. It is working ok, but I am surprised that I can not change the weight of the font within one sentence in the text field. I have come from Apple FCP and this is something you can do very easily. I have 80 odd headers like this and was wondering if there is a solution, without having to duplicate layers?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Julian
Solution? Use the build in Ess Graphics Tool.

Thanks for the reply.
I am sorry could you please clarify what you have done here.
So you are in a dialogue box. When you say, build what do you mean? Where is this option?
I am looking at the essential graphics panel and it has a font selection. I need a bit more info as to the process. I can highlight the fonts but when I select one word to make it a lighter font the whole sentence changes?
Thank you.

Select Text tool. Highlight the word not the entire sentence and change the weight.

I'm sorry I must be missing something here. I noticed your dialogue box looks different from mine.
You got an eye symbol in front of your text, but I don't have that. Is this the right dialogue box? ve that.

Are you showing properties of a mogrt?

Yes. Just to re-iterate this is a text generator?

As I said before use the build in Ess Graphics instead of this text generator which obvious does not do what you want.

Yes, I have done this. but it doesn't work on one text line.

Is this a pre-made mogrt?

Yes, I made one with essential graphics. It lets you activate the font and weight, but you can't really single out an individual word. I asked this also on the after-effects forum and they seem to think it can be done.

Dont know how you done this but see my earlier posted screenshot.......
Dont use this Austin Newman thing.
Ess Graphics does not look like its from the latest build (2021/15) looks more like a pre made mogrt.

I am now not using Austin's template. I tried to make my own in after effects and saved it as a mograt file.

I forgot to say. I am using the text effects from after effects which I can't emulate in Pr. So I have made my own mograt template. I don't really understand the way you are doing it but it's not working for me.
I have just made a mixed text template, with different groups of text and a position setting.
