Hi,
I'm making a tutorial video and have recorded the audio in mono using audition, and would like to keep the audio in mono, since it sounds cleaner than stereo since it's just me talking.
When i import the mono audio into Premiere, I also wanted to include some minor intro music, which happens to be stereo.
My question, do i need to do something special to keep the final output as mono? e.g. do i need to convert the stereo music to mono? I want to ensure that the audition recording stays in mono on final output AND i don't want to have the issue where the mono only outputs on left or right channel.. i.e. the video (in .avi or other common format) is in true mono.
Thank you!

update: i found out that i can easily convert the stero to mono at import time here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/interpret-stereo-to-2-mono-on-timeline/td-p/10955686?page=1
i guess this "solves" the problem so that i don't have to figure out how what to do at render time.
