Hey everyone,
I have a PC and I'm running into problems with Premiere and my mouse and keyboard are losing connection like crazy when I'm playing clips in the timeline. I have a RGB keyboard and it goes black, and my mouse also stops moving for a second.
This happens with 4k timelines, and 1080 timelines, and the total timeline is 3-4 minutes. I even set the playback resolution to be 1/2 and it doesn't help. My computer should have absolutely zero problem playing a simple clip. I'm working with MP4 files from a Sony A7III, and my 2 year old Macbook plays them fine.
My specs are:
Processor: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
RAM 128 GB
GPU: GTX 3090
Boot Drive: 1tb 980pro m.2
Cache Drive: 1tb 980pro m.2
Project Drive: 2tb 970plus m.2
