Hello Adobe Community,

I have imported a .mov file which generates an "error retrieving frame" message. When rendering the sequence, another "Video Preview Error" message pops up ... any idea what could be the origin of these messages and what the solution could be ?

I am using Pr v14.6 on Windows 10.

Thanks to all 🙂

Are you working of a NAS. If so try a local drive.

Post screenshot sequence settings as your preview codec looks incorrect.

Hello Ann Bens,

Thanks for your reply. Hereafter is the screenshot of my Sequence setting.

Changing the location of my source file (from NAS to :C drive) did not make any changes .. still having the same Error messages ...

In Video previews box I have modified the Preview File Format to Quicktime. This has the effect that I could eventually use the Render In to Out function with not Video Preview Error message. However, the Error retrieving frame message is still on.
