MPEG files

Since my update to V14.4 I can't read my MPEG files 1440X1080 (1.3333) 25.00i any more I have an older version of Premiere pro V13.1 there it works perfectly. Can you tell me waht to do?

Sorry to hear about this. Could you let us know the source of these files and if you are getting any error message while importing these files? Also, if possible please send a download link for the sample media with which you are experiencing this issue. It will help us to diagnose the issue properly.

Ok it's a MPEG2 format.

The error message is that it can not read the fiel and turn it to black.

As I already metioned in the older version 13.1 it works pefectely.

What exactly do you mean Pr does not read my file.

Cannot import? Cannot drop it on the timeline.............?

Plays fine in 14.4 and beta.

Things you can do:

FAQ: How to reset (trash) preferences.

FAQ: Deleting Media Cache files

Delete preview files.

Rename top folder befor importing.

Any codec pack installed?

It works! thanks a lot I think it was to delete teh cache files.
