Working from a Team Project, everyting was fine but the started getting painfully slow. Even deleting an audio tracks could take up to 3 minutes!!!!!! I created a normal project and it's still very slow. Then created a new project, imported the project file there and still...Any ideas??? It's very frustrating

I'm working on a new imac with 72 gb  RAM, radeon pro vega graphics card. The footage is in a OWC RAID drive

Not sure what's going on but you might check the state of your media drive.  Might find an app that will test drive access times...  You might also set up a proxy workflow.  Not particularly intuitive but allowed me on a much older machine to work with mutlicams with 4k and 1080 material without issues.   Post back if you want some help with that.

Hey thanks for the answer, I am working with proxies so that's not it! I deleted the cache and I think that helped, but could be an issue that will come back with Multicam ?

Maybe try cleaning your cache. Go to the top of the interface, click in Premiere Pro/Preferences/Media and Disk cache and use the options to delete unused and clean the cache. Then re-start Premiere.

I hope this helps.
