Multicam Lagging/Stuttering

Premiere Pro 2018/2020. 

Clips are being downloaded from Google Drive. Placed into a fresh project and timeline, the individual clips are fine/no issues. Once they're placed into a Multi Cam Source Sequence (no changes to default settings) and placed in the timeline, they start making everything lag/stutter. I've tried placing playback at 1/4, no luck. Sometimes there will be some audio, but the video largely doesn't process. Totally fine in the source monitor, just when they go into the timeline.
