MXF files with embedded Closed Caption files not showing up

I am working with MXF files that have embedded Closed Captions (both 608 and 708) and when I import the file into Premiere (both 2019 and 2020) all that shows up is one channel of video and all of the audio.  Usually there are 608 and 708 captions in the V2 and V3 channels.

I would love to find a way to keep using Premiere Pro for my work, but I keep running into roadblocks when dealing with these closed captions files.

What was the source of the file? Check it with MediaInfo to see that the 2 caption streams are there and the characteristics.

I just tested in PR 2020.5.0 (Win10), and my mxf op1 export with 608 and 708 embedded reimports with both streams.

See this thread, even though it offers no solution. The PR exported file shows the "Muxing mode: Ancillary data/CDP" as expected. I wonder if this is your issue.
