My Media Encoder exports faster than when I export directly from Premiere

Is that supposed to happen?
I noticed when I queued 3 clips to export in Premiere and then clicked the Start Queue button on Media Encoder, it took about if not less than 5 minutes to finish those three clips.
Vice versa, I tried exporting ONE of the three clip from my project in Premiere and it took literally 15 minutes.

Is Media Encoder taking my export settings from Premiere? Something I'm missing here?

I have noticed the same thing before.

One program might be setup for hardware encoding the other might not. The video below might be helpful.
