Good Morning,

Small issue: renaming footage in Project Panel does not update in TimeLine.

Is there a way to sync them?

Thank you for your help,

Jessie

File --> Project settings --> General --> Display the project item name and label color for all instances.

Make sure it is checked

Not seeing it on my system. Might be some sort of glitch: add clip again to timeline.

Why is your timeline rendered as clips have no effects.

I would actually expect them to remain separate.

I can foresee a whole lot of frustration if changing the clip name in the bin changed it for clip instances already in a sequence, which might themselves already have been renamed.

The clips are labeled yellow so the option in the Project Setting should already be checked.

It is set as one before importing and dragging to timeline. No changes were done to the label after dragging to timeline

If the settings was unchecked the clip would have been blue.

Must have been a glitch.
