Need to burn a DVD playable for DVD player but no Encore

I am trying to burn a DVD usable in DVD players.
I downloaded CS6 version of Pr Pro and when I went to open the CC version of my project it says the files are damaged. However, when I installed CS6 it removed CC. Now I am trying to reinstall CC.
On top of that, I still can't find how to access the Encore app.

I'm getting really frustrated with this process. If this is the only way you can burn a DVD that works on DVD players using Adobe products, why does Adobe not make Encore accessible with Premiere Pro CC????

Besides that, can anyone help me figure out how to do all of this? It's taking so much time and I don't really have the time to spare with this project.

Ok, Stan Jones, I think you might have just helped me solve the encore

issue.

Now my trouble is when I try to export it using the MEPG2-DVD format, it

ends up queuing for export as an AAC audio file instead of the wav and m2v

files like every other forum says it will export as....

Ok, I burned the first disc. Went to do the same process with the second

and now I get an error that says the software needed to decode is

unavailable....It loads the audio but not the video.

"The software used to decode the media is not available on this system.

Installing the correct decoders for the files you are working on may help

with the problem."

Any ideas? It's only like 4GB and the one I burned was like 3.5GB so I

don't really understand what to do....

Can be multiple causes.

The most common cause of this issue is still image files where the pixel size is too large.

But it is has been solved by re-encoding the problem file.

Re the 4GB vs 3.5GB, a 4.7GB DVD is only 4.37GiB, but I don't think that is your issue here.

Actually what I did to fix it was I went back into premiere and saw my

export settings. It said I had exported the one giving me issues as "NTSC

DV Progressive"...when I switched that to "NTSC DV Wide Progressive" and

did the fresh export, it imported into Encore right away. Not sure why that

fixed it, but it did so that's cool. I have both DVDs done!

There is an Encore forum. We'll help you get sorted. At dinner so can't send link!

Look for the program file in program files/adobe/encore, and run from there. Be sure to run "as administrator."

Encore And CC run fine for me on Win10.
