Newbie > How do I organise my Essential Graphics .mogrts ????

Hi all,

I'm enjoying PP.

However, there is something I find extremely difficult and frustrating.

I bought a YouTube tittles pack from Envato, it is brilliant.  There are 25 .mogrts in ten separate categories.  i.e. 250 .mogrts.  And here lies my problem.  I cannot find a way to put these into directories (openers, titles, transitions etc) so they are organised.  They are mixed in with the default ones and some others I got for free.  It is an unholy mess and takes me ages to find the one I want.

Is there any way to organise the .mogrts please after import?

EDIT:  It sorts them numerically and alphabetically which means the mogrts get split up from their group.

Many thanks,

Stephen

See:

Use and customize Motion Graphics templates in Premiere Pro

You can create libraries or use favorites to sort and control which Mogrts are displayed.

Starting in Pr 2019 you also have the ability to sort you mogrts locally. In the three dash hamburger menu you see the item "Manage Additional Folder". There you can add mogrts from local folders which will be added as a dropdown just like Libraries but under Local

Both of the above suggestions are good and should help you stay organized with minimal overhead. Beyond that, if you can spare some time to set keywords for your mogrts, I think you will find it to be a very powerful organizational tool. You can assign keywords to one or more mogrts at once by going to Essential Graphics Panel (EGP) > Browse > My Templates and revealing info for selected mogrt(s).

For a little more info on how to do it, see the screenshots under "Users can add custom keywords to templates" here:
