Newby: Need to copy a transition (there were shortcuts?)

I watched the tutorial but can't find it now and am in a hurry:-(

Absolutely no idea what you're talking about or what you want to do... but... if I were to take a total stab at it, I would say to select the transition you want to copy, hit ctrl-c on windows cmd-c on a mac, and then go to the spot you want the transition and ctrl-p or cmd-p to paste it.
