nightmare with prores raw.

Hi,

Prior to my question here is what equipment I'm using:

FS5II recording prores rawHQ to the shogun inferno
Editing on windows 10, latest version of PP, latest version of nvidia studio drivers

i9-7920x
64gb ddr4 ram
gtx1080 6gb

My issue is when I'm editing the pro res raw files, I keep getting the error
"Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts"

This happens sporadically and turns all the frames from the clips black.

Solutions I've tried:

deleting all preview and cache data and re rendering
Turning off GPU acceleration.

Any advice would be MASSIVELY appreciated.
Im aware that prores raw has only recently come out of beta for PP but expected it to be much more stable than it currently is.

Thanks

Any RAW files are pretty heavy on any system. I suggest you create proxies to work with.

Playback will be fine for about 10 minutes then suddenly will spam me with this error, even when scrubbing clips in the Project panel!

Guessing you need to consider proxies.

Its not a performance issue, like I said, it plays back flawlessly for about 10 minutes then crashes starts spamming this error code.

I regularly edit large, heavy cpu and gpu intensive projects without fail. This is the first time I've used prores raw. unfortunately I believe it's just growing pains of prores raw on windows. It can be edited fine on my older macbook.
