No 16 / 32 bit support?

So I'm not sure if this is a bug in the latest Premiere Pro, but all 16 & 32 bbp images display incorrectly in PP, too bright and/or washed out. This is both in the timeline and with a test snapshot.

These high bit depth images (rendered from Maya with Redshift renderer) display correctly in every other app and Photoshop, just not PP. I've tried 16 & 32 bpp variants of TIFF and OpenEXR, same result. I have tried enabling "linear color" in settings, it doesn't do anything.

PP would be a joke toy if it has no high bit depth support, so there must be something I'm not doing right?
